After installation the MoonCart and after dummy-content export, you need to select our elementor from WordPress admin > Elementor> Settings please check required option.

1. Use Custom Post Type-(Products, Posts, Pages, Portfolios)

The post related setting will be set here, go to wp-admin > Portfolios > Add New/ Edit post
